Tour Policies
Early Booking: Most tours offer early booking discounts. For tours 7 Days or longer a $250 discount is offered off the first 10 seats and $100 off the next 10 when booking is made 90-100 days prior to travel. For tours 6 days or less the early booking discount is $75 for the first 10 seats and $25 for the next 10 and the booking is made 45-60 prior to travel. Some exceptions may apply.
Deposit and Payment: For tours 7 Days or longer a $400 deposit per person is required to secure space. Full payment is usually required 65-70 days in advance of travel. See below for specific payment dates for each tour. On tours of 6 days or less a $100 deposit per person is required to secure space. Full payment is usually required 35-40 days in advance of travel.
Airfare: If the tour involves air travel the airfare has been included in the tour rate. As airfare prices fluctuate we can only guarantee the price when bookings are made 90-100 days prior to travel. After that time tour price with air may be significantly higher. Should you wish to book your own flights the tour price will be reduced by the Own Air amount listed under the price. Please be aware that own air packages do not include airport transfers.
Price Changes: As the exchange rate is constantly changing Mile Zero Tours reserves the right to charge an incremental surcharge should there be a significant decline in the Canadian Dollar before full payment is received. Also in the event of significant changes in taxes or surcharges by suppliers or local government Mile Zero Tours, reserves the right to adjust price up until time of departure.
Cancellation policy: Each tour has its own cancellation terms based on the terms offered to Mile Zero Tours by various suppliers. Please see below for specifics by tour. We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance as Mile Zero Tours cannot issue refunds, no matter the reason, beyond the scope of the policies mentioned below.
Travel Insurance: Mile Zero Tours is licensed to offer Manulife travel insurance products. Premiums will vary based on the cost and duration of the trip and age of the traveller. We will be happy to provide quotes for the desired coverage. Insurance premiums are normally collected at the time of final payment.
