Tofino Escape

Day 1– Monday October 27, 2025 – Vancouver to Tofino

This morning, we embark from Vancouver and journey to Horseshoe Bay, where we board the ferry bound for Vancouver Island. Upon our arrival, we venture to the iconic Coombs Old Country Market, famous for its charming goats that graze on the rooftop. Spend some leisurely time exploring the eclectic galleries and shops before indulging in a delightful lunch. Our journey then leads us westward along the picturesque Pacific Rim Highway, tracing the rugged coastline. As we arrive at the breathtaking Pacific Rim National Park, we press on to the exquisite Tin Wis Resort, where your luxurious ocean-view accommodations await. Tonight, we'll delight in a delectable dinner at a beloved local restaurant, soaking in the flavors and atmosphere of this enchanting coastal community.

Day 2 – Tuesday October 28, 2025 - Tofino 

Today we explore our gorgeous surroundings. Travelling through the National Park we will stop at Combers and Incinerator Rock, take in a short nature walk and explore Long Beach. We’ll also visit the Kwisitis Visitor Centre to learn more of the geology and natural history of the area. Next stop is the picturesque Amphitrite Point Lighthouse built in 1905 with a stunning view over Barkley Sound and the open Pacific Ocean. Take time to explore and have some lunch in the village of Ucluelet, fondly known by the locals as “Ukee”. Later we visit the Village of Tofino where you may choose to remain for dinner.

Day 3 – Wednesday October 29, 2025 — Tofino 

Enjoy a day at leisure today to experience the great amenities and ambiance of your seaside resort. There will be a trip into Tofino village in the afternoon or perhaps you’ll prefer to spend the afternoon strolling on the sheltered beach. This evening we venture into the village again for a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4 — Thursday October 30, 2025 – Tofino to Vancouver​​

Departing the Tin Wis Resort this morning, we travel back along the Pacific Rim Highway. Stopping in Port Alberni for lunch before visiting Cathedral Grove to view the 800-year-old giant Douglas fir trees. From here a short ride brings us back to Departure Bay Ferry Terminal for the return crossing. Arrive back on the mainland late this afternoon where transportation is arranged to take you back home.
