Okanagan Grape Escape

Day 1: Saturday, September 26, 2026– Victoria to Osoyoos 

This morning depart Victoria with BC Ferries. Once on the mainland we follow the Fraser Valley to Hope then continue along the Crowsnest Highway across beautiful Southern BC. Later this afternoon we arrive in the charming town of Osoyoos, surrounded by the only living desert in Canada. Check in to your suite overlooking the country’s warmest freshwater lake - the Osoyoos Lake. This evening join your Tour Director and fellow travelers for a relaxed and enjoyable welcome dinner.

Day 2: Sunday, September 27, 2026, – Osoyoos 

This morning we will tour the Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre. At the Centre, a guide will enlighten us on the local ecology and first nation’s history and legends. This afternoon sip and sample in Oliver, a little town that holds the prestigious designation of Wine Capital of Canada. Return to your lakeside hotel for a leisurely evening.

Day 3: Monday, September 28, 2026 – Osoyoos to Kelowna

We leave Osoyoos this morning for a visit to the SS Sicamous—the largest surviving sternwheeler in Canada—now beautifully restored as a museum and wedding venue. Once a vital link for communities around the Okanagan, her story brings the region’s lake history to life.  This afternoon, enjoy a scenic ride through the valley aboard the Kettle Valley Railway, travelling on a vintage train for a memorable glimpse of the Okanagan’s rail heritage.  Later, we check into our luxurious lakeside accommodations in Kelowna at the Delta Okanagan Grand Resort.

Day 4: Tuesday, September 29, 2026 –Kelowna

After breakfast. We take a short relaxing cruise on the Okanagan Lake. Be on the lookout for the legendary lake monster – Ogopogo. Next we will visit the Kelowna Heritage Museum which offers historical insight on the region and go on to taste our way through the countryside sampling at a few local wineries. This evening enjoy a fine dinner at a favorite local restaurant.

Day 5: Wednesday, September 30, 2026 - Kelowna to Victoria 

Depart the Okanagan this morning travelling west towards Merritt and the Coquihalla Highway. Watch as the scenery quickly changes from dry desert to lush green forests. After a lunch stop, we follow the highway to the coast and board the ferry at Tsawwassen. Upon arrival in Victoria, transfers will be available to take you home. Arrive home late afternoon with countless memories from your relaxing getaway in The Okanagan.
