Full Itinerary:

Day 1 – Wednesday, April 14, 2021 Victoria to Galiano to Pender

This morning we leave Swartz Bay Victoria to the wildest and driest gulf island, Galiano, named after the Spanish explorer Dionisio Alcalá Galiano who explored the west coast of Canada in 1792. Visit Montague Harbour Marine Provincial Park and unique shell beaches covered with worn shells instead of sand.  With an informative local guide, Galiano will be the epitome of your island tour with nature, artists and friendly locals. Later this evening, arrive on Pender Island, which is actually two islands separated by a narrow canal and connected by a picturesque one-lane bridge. A locally inspired dining experience with a taste of the gulf islands awaits you.

Today’s Dinner is included

Day 2 – Thursday, April 15, 2021 Pender

A local guide will accompany us this morning to the Pender Island Museum for insight into the island’s history before an opportunity to indulge in locally made everything - from sweet treats to wine tasting at an award-winning spectacular vineyard.  A studio tour with a local artist will cap this day. Enjoy the evening at leisure with time to stroll around the Marina.

Today’s breakfast is included

Day 3 – Friday, April 16, 2021 Pender to Salt Spring

Today another ferry ride brings us to the largest of the Southern Gulf Island, Salt Spring Island, known for its artists and emerging as a foodie’s delight. Creativity abounds and we will visit a few diverse studios ranging from lavender to glass blowing. Visit Salt Spring Island Cheese, where everything is natural, and the cheeses are as good as it looks.  Enjoy beautiful Ruckle Park situated on a heritage farm with stunning scenery of the gulf islands. Taste local beer at a brewery before we enjoy dinner together.

Today’s breakfast and dinner are included

Day 4 – Saturday, April 17, 2021 Salt Spring to Mayne

We check out of our hotel after breakfast to treasure hunt at the internationally acclaimed Salt Spring Island Market with the mantra "make it, bake it, or grow it”. Located oceanside in the heart of the largest village on the island, Ganges, you can browse through local ingenuity from Canada's "Island of the Arts" with the spotlight on pottery, jewellery, fine art, baking and everything home made. This afternoon, we travel to Mayne Island where we will stay for two nights.

Today’s breakfast is included

Day 5 – Sunday, April 18, 2021 Mayne – Saturna - Mayne

This morning we travel to the remote easternmost Gulf Island Saturna, home to 350 full time residents. Experience this tiny island through the eyes of a local resident. Visit the East Point Fog Alarm building, the most photographed heritage landmark in the Gulf Islands. Roll back the hands of time to hear history and stories of brave lighthouse keepers and understand why numerous Gulf Islands have Spanish names. Be enlightened about the marine environment and the Salish Sea before returning to Mayne Island for the night.

Today’s breakfast and lunch and dinner are included

Day 6 – Monday, April 19, 2021 Mayne to Victoria
